COVID 19 PLAN as of 9th June 2020

  • McGrath Real Estate office front door will be open
    • Upon entry Attendees are encouraged to sanitise and keep a distance of 1.5m.
  • Careful consideration is to be given as to whether a face to face meeting is essential and are encouraged to use videoconferencing aps / software on non-essential face to face meetings. (Zoom, hangouts, FaceTime, WhatsApp)
  • A record of people attending the office (excluding staff) will be kept at reception in a book outlining Name, Phone Number and day of attendance, in the event contact tracing is required.
  • Any pens used by other people are to be sanitized immediately after use.
  • All staff are required to have a minimum of 1.5 meters between them at all times, or 1 person per 4sqm (density requirements).
  • No physical touching other members of staff or shaking hands.
  • Any staff member or that have a family member with cold or flu like symptoms are not to enter the premises.
  • Please stay home and get tested for Covid-19
  • Sanitiser and tissues are available for use at the front reception area.
  • With respect to clients attending the office, the following rules apply:
    • Reception Area – total of 3 clients allowed
    • Board Room – Total of 4 clients allowed
    • ALP office – total of 2 clients allowed
  • Regular washing of hands encouraged and regular cleaning of all surfaces touched by staff, including general office / workstation cleaning.
  • Any dishes used by staff are to be immediately placed in the dishwasher for thorough cleaning.
  • All team members are encouraged to download the Covid  - 19 App, to assist with government contact tracing.
  • Regular sanitizing and office cleaning to be conducted by each individual of their own work desks on a daily basis and Administration team to clean each of the meeting rooms as they are vacated in preparation for the next appointment.

  • Agent will request the home owner to open all doors and have all lights on in the property prior to their arrival (Owner Occupied). Where it is a vacant property the Agent will open all doors and turn on all lights on their arrival. 
  • Sanitiser provided for all Attendees to use.
  • Names & Phone Numbers are to be collected and recorded on the Open Inspection record sheet, as Attendees enter the property. Attendees must be asked whether they wish us to use this information to contact them
  • Attendees are requested not to touch any surfaces in the property
  • No more than 10 people in a property at one time, excluding real estate staff.
    • When maximum numbers have been reached a sign will be placed on the door and the door will be locked, to request that further Attendees  “Wait, and we will be with you in a moment”
    • Smaller limits will apply if the property does not allow for a total of 10 people to be in the premises (allowing for the minimum of 4sqm per person)
  • Social Distancing measures to be maintained, keeping 1.5 metres from others.
  • Anyone with cold or flu like symptoms are to be denied entry under government requirements.
  • On completion of Inspection the Agent is to sanitise, put on gloves and wipe down any surfaces that may have been touched with Anti-Bacterial wipes.
NOTE 1: Private Inspections are to be conducted for any tenanted properties – no formal open inspection is permitted.

NOTE 2: If in the event of an Auction in addition to the above:
  • When registering Bidders maintain social distancing.
  • Any Pens / areas are to be sanitised immediately after use
  • KEY RETURN - Contractors are to be encouraged to return the keys into our letterbox rather than bringing them into the office.
